In the celebration of our 3rd Waterlily Festival, I welcome each and everyone, our guests, visitors and especially our balikbayan who keep on coming home to join us in this merriment. Truly, such merriment is an inspiration to aspire for attainable endeavors.

I call for your continued effort to help the government in uplifting the lives of Cuyapeños, let us join hands and work together in achieving our goals.

Characters I Dare Not Forget

This book is a collection of articles that connects the present with valued relationships in the past, allowing the author to live her life fully with spice and passion. The book tells of the joys and trials of the author's colleagues, the Filipino American educators in Washington; her beloved kababayans, the people of Cuyapo, Nueva Ecija, and her own loved ones - family, friends and peers.

The book is a sequel to Glimpses of My Roots published in 2005.
