Characters I Dare Not Forget


This book is a collection of articles that connects the present with valued relationships in the past, allowing the author to live her life fully with spice and passion. The book tells of the joys and trials of the author's colleagues, the Filipino American educators in Washington; her beloved kababayans, the people of Cuyapo, Nueva Ecija, and her own loved ones - family, friends and peers.

The book is a sequel to Glimpses of My Roots published in 2005.

Binubuo ng limampu’t-isang barangay
Likas ang pagtulong, sa kapwa’y may pagdamay
Taimtim na panalangin sa Lumikha’y taglay

Pagkakaisa sa puso, isip at diwa
Sa bayang ito mga Cuyapeño’y payapa’t masaya

Paunlarin, tangkilikin sariling bayan natin

Himig nating Cuyapeño sama-samang awitin
