CUYAPO CITIZEN'S CHARTER (CITCHA)

The Anti-red Tape Act of 2007, otherwise known as Republic Act 9485 declared it the policy of the State to promote integrity, accountability, proper management of public affairs and public property as well as to establish effective practices aimed at the prevention of graft and corruption in government.

In accordance with this policy, the Municipality of Cuyapo has set up service standards to be known as the Citizens’ Charter of Cuyapo. The Local Leadership advocates the promotion of good local governance through clear, transparent, accountable and responsive public service delivery which will benefit the general public through reduction in time and resources spent on transacting with a local government office, enhanced customer satisfaction, reduced vulnerability to graft and corruption, availability of feedback mechanism, existence of customers/clientele, availability of complaints and redress mechanism, and opening of the opportunity for people participation on service improvement.

The Citizen's Charter is an instrument through which the quality of public service can be improved more by letting people know the mandate of the Local Government Agency/Office concern, how the client can get in touch with local officials. This Citizens’ Charter will provide our constituents the most efficient, effective and easiest way of availing a particular service and the guaranteed performance level that a clientele may expect.
