RESOLUTION NO. 09, s-2008
RESOLUTION AMENDING THE ORDINANCE FIXING THE SPEED LIMIT OF MOTOR VEHICLES INTO 20-30 KPH FROM BRGY. CURVA TO T. CORPUS STREET, CUYAPO, NUEVA ECIJA
WHEREAS, many vehicular accidents have occurred in the main thoroughfares of the municipality because of reckless driving and over-speeding;
WHEREAS, strict observance and implementation of our traffic rules and regulations are needed and it is timely and proper to amend the speed limit of vehicles passing through main streets and roads of our town;
NOW THEREFORE, on motion of SBM Mussolini B. Agpalo and duly seconded by SBM Bernardo D. Diaz, this Body, in an open session assembled RESOLVES, as it is hereby RESOLVED, to approve and adopt the following Ordinance, to wit:;
MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE NO. 103, s-2008
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE SPEED LIMIT OF MOTOR VEHICLES INTO 20-30 KPH FROM BRGY. CURVA TO T. CORPUS STREET, CUYAPO, NUEVA ECIJA
Be it ordained by the Sangguniang Bayan of Cuyapo that:
SECTION 1: This Ordinance sets the speed limit of vehicles running daily along Barangay Curva to T. Corpus Street to 20-30 KPH;
SECTION 2: Any person who violates this Ordinance shall be penalized as follows:
First offense : P300.00
Second offense : P600.00 and two (2) days community service
Third offense : P1,000.00 and one (1) day impoundment of vehicle at the Cuyapo-PNP Station.
SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval;
RESOLVED FURTHER, that this Resolution/Ordinance be posted at three (3) conspicuous public places in the municipality and furnish copy of the same to all parties concerned;
